Trade portal, included
Your trade customers sign in with their own email and password, see the products you choose at the prices you've agreed with them, and order whenever it suits them. Each order lands in Frostbyte Pro as a draft for you to check and confirm, then it's picked, packed, dispatched and invoiced like any other.
Part of the one Frostbyte Pro plan, with no add-on fee. Your buyers don't take up a paid user.
Most trade orders still arrive the old way. A buyer emails a list, texts a photo of their stock room or leaves a voicemail after hours, and someone keys it in the next morning, checking each price against what that customer pays. With a trade portal your customers do the ordering, at their own prices, and you get a tidy draft order to confirm instead.

A private ordering page that opens in a web browser, with your business name at the top and only their own account behind it.
You invite each buyer by name and email from their customer's page. The email has a link to choose a password, and from then on they sign in with their email and that password. If they forget it, they can ask for a new link from the sign-in page. Turn someone off and they're signed out straight away.
Buyers see only the products you tick Sell in portal, with photos, descriptions and your categories, and they can search by name or code. Every price is theirs: their price tier, quantity breaks and any discount you give them on a product. Prices show plus GST, the way trade customers expect, and a product you sell by the case is ordered by the case.
Each product shows In stock, Low stock or Out of stock, taken from your default warehouse. Customers can see what's available before they order, and nobody outside your business sees how much you hold.
Buyers see their total with GST before they place the order, and can add their own order number, a note and one of their delivery addresses. If a price changes while they're ordering, they're shown the new total and nothing is placed until they place it again.
Buyers can look up their orders with you, including the ones you took by phone or email, with each order's status, freight and tracking number. When you raise your invoices in Frostbyte Pro, they can download them as PDFs and see what's still to pay. Order these again puts a past order straight back in the cart.
Switch on Orders for branches for a head office's buyer and they can order for each branch that bills to the head office. They choose the branch at the top of the page, and that branch's own prices, credit, delivery addresses, orders and invoices apply.
Portal orders come into the same Frostbyte Pro as everything else, so they share one stock record with your phone orders, web orders and production.
Each order arrives as a draft sales order, marked with who placed it. Check it and confirm it, as you would an order taken over the phone. From there it holds its stock and goes through your usual picking, packing, dispatch and invoicing, ready to push across to Xero.
You're emailed and notified as soon as an order comes in. New orders go to the people you name, or to whoever gets your Order Status Updates. Reply to the email and your reply goes to the buyer.
A customer on credit hold can't place orders. If you enforce credit limits, an order that would take a customer over theirs is refused, counting invoices owing and orders not yet invoiced, and the buyer is told how much credit is left. If you only warn, the order goes in and your email says it's over the limit.
Tick Sell in portal on a product's page, or on many products at once with Bulk Edit. The Products list shows what's in the portal, and the Sales list marks every order placed there, with a filter for just those.
Preview the portal from a customer's page, at that customer's prices, before you invite anyone. Nothing can be ordered from a preview.
Put a welcome note above your products, such as your order cut-off time or delivery days, and share the portal's address however you like.
An Owner or Admin switches on Trade portal in Settings, General, under Optional sections. Your portal gets its own address to share.
Tick Sell in portal on the products your trade customers can order. Only active products with a price can be ordered.
From each customer's page, by name and email. They get an email to choose a password, and the link works for 7 days.
Orders arrive as drafts with the buyer's order number and notes. Check them, confirm them and carry on as usual.

The trade portal is part of the one Frostbyte Pro plan: $89.95 NZD per user per month including GST, with a 3 user minimum. Your buyers don't take up a paid user. Cin7, for comparison, sold its B2B portal as a paid add-on on both Cin7 Core and Cin7 Omni when we checked in September 2026.
Nothing extra. It's part of the one Frostbyte Pro plan, $89.95 NZD per user per month including GST with a 3 user minimum, and your buyers don't take up a paid user. You can try it free for 14 days, with no credit card.
No. Buyers don't pay in the portal. You invoice them as you do now, on their usual terms, and when you raise your invoices in Frostbyte Pro they can download them from the portal and see what's still to pay.
No. You invite each buyer from their customer's page, so only people you've chosen can order. One email address orders for one customer, and you can turn anyone off at any time.
Their own. The price tier on their customer record, your quantity breaks and any discount you give them on particular products all apply, and their standing discount comes off the order. Prices show plus GST, or without tax for a customer you've marked tax exempt. A product with no price for them asks them to contact you instead.
No. Each product shows In stock, Low stock or Out of stock, never how many. The figure is taken from your default warehouse.
It arrives as a draft sales order, marked with who placed it, and you're emailed and notified. Check it and confirm it as you would any other order. If the customer's credit limit is enforced and the order would take them over it, it's refused before it reaches you, and the buyer is told how much credit is left.
Yes. On the head office's customer page, switch on Orders for branches for that buyer. They can then order for each branch that bills to the head office, at each branch's own prices, with its own credit, delivery addresses, orders and invoices.
Any active customer billed in your own currency. A customer billed in another currency can't be invited yet.
An Owner or Admin switches on Trade portal in Settings, General, under Optional sections, then ticks Sell in portal on the products to offer and invites buyers from each customer's page. New accounts have it from the start. If you've been with us a while and can't see it, email info@frostbytesoftware.co.nz and ask us to switch it on.
